The TS-ETH2 is a PC/104 peripheral board (standard format) that provides dual 10/100 Ethernet ports. The TS-ETH2 is compatible with both embeddedTS x86 and ARM single board computers.

The TS-ETH2 provides two integrated 10/100 ethernet ports through ASIX AX88796B embedded MAC/PHY chips. It interfaces with the PC/104 connector via 16-bit data bus and the register map is NE2000 compatible.

Jumpers IRQ5, IRQ6 and IRQ7 configure the TS-ETH2 to use one of eight IRQ lines for both ports. Jumpers JP1 and JP2 select one of four I/O address regions. Also, the ARM jumper enables PC/104 16-bit access from a TS ARM SBC using only the 64-pin PC/104 connector.

There are two on-board LEDs for the MAC, which can be used in TS mode (indicating link status and network activity on the cable) or default ASIX mode. In addition, external LEDs can be connected through two mounted con nectors.

The register map of ASIX AX88796B ethernet chip is NE2000 compatible, so driver support is straight-forward. embeddedTS provides a Linux driver for the ASIX Ethernet interface suitable for both Kernel versions 2 .4 and 2.6.
